So much of what we hear about today is gloom and doom. I decided to create a blog where I and others can come for a little bit of happiness and maybe even laughter...it truly can be the best medicine. I hope these entries share a smile or two. Enjoy!

Hurray, Hurray, it's a Giveaway!!

I have been in envy of blogs that have so many viewers that they get money from advertisers. I wouldn't really want hordes of people reading my special posts, but what I do wish is that I got money so I could do occassional giveaways.
Well, I got thinking today...Why not do a giveaway? Okay, so I can't give a Wii or a trip, but I can give something. Sooo.....
The post following this is all about chocolate, so yummy. Everyone who leaves a comment on that post and names their favorite chocolate and their favorite chocolate dessert will be entered into a random drawing for a $10 gift card to Target to buy European chocolate. The drawing will be on March 27th, at 2pm, so that's over a week. (Winning post will be chosen by Random.com.)

I chose Target because everyone has access to this store and because it carries more European chocolate (at an affordable price) than any store, at least here Utah. So comment away and you could win CHOCOLATE! Yippie! I get to give away a prize! I love it!

Well, I'm definitely entering this one (and then trying to figure out how to delete everyone else's comments so I get chosen). My favorite chocolate depends on the mood I'm in. I love both dark and milk - not a big fan of white though. I eat chocolate in some form everyday. I thoroughly enjoy my hot chocolate , with whipped cream and dark chocolate shavings in the morning. Love, love , love See's. But I also am possessed by the M&M demons (read a story in the newspaper a few years ago about a woman who had them exorcised). Don't have one favorite chocolate dessert - more like many. chocolate cheesecake, chocolate flourless cake, chocolate icecream, chocolate chip cookies, the list goes on . . . . and when I am done posting, I will be making (and eating) a Betty Crocker Warm Delights Hot Fudge Brownie.....yum!

I am with "ilikehearts". Chocolate, for me, is chosen based on my mood. But, if I need to write about my most favorite chocolate desires then I would say that "I prefer my chocolate in the form of a pastry and/or accompanied with nuts and/or raisins". But I have also been known to eat pure, untainted, glorious chocolate. In this form, I definitely like it dark. Baby, dark!

From Mom:

Okay, my turn. I love chocolate too, the darker the better. Lindt is a favorite since it is great tasting and also easy to get. The flavor really does it for me. I regularly have their 85% and I have an open bar of 99%. The 99 squares are very little since a little goes a long way in taste and satisfaction. But Dad and I love them all. We tried over 75 different Lindt bars while on our French mission. Mmmmmm!!! We too, hope to win!!! :-) but best of luck to everyone!!!

I think we have a sisterly bond that crosses the continent because I was just about to do the same sort of thing with my beauty blog. I was thinking of having a product of the month that people could win... you little... went and got it done first. :) What a fun idea.

For me chocolate is not merely a pleasure it is a necessity. I am not the only one who has realized this. My hubby is quite aware of the difference a bit of chocolate will do to calm my mood. I am a fan of the truffle and the liquid chocolate. I am currently enjoying the easter Cadbury mini eggs. Walking through the store I can smell them and must buy a bag. Aaah! Heaven!
